1. Please do not send your child a carbonated drink. By the time lunch has come around the drink has been shaken and often causes a sticky mess. We have noticed some students are bringing lunch and then want to purchase a lunch too. Please have a conversation with your child about if this is acceptable or not.
2. During dismissal, please leave your car tags hanging in the window until your child is safety inside your car.
3. If you missed your child’s grade level parent night, we have uploaded the handout and PowerPoint to our website. https://ees.loudoncounty.org/o/ees/documents/parents/title-1-resources/433815
4. LAUNCH flyers will be sent home tomorrow and sign-ups will begin on Wednesday.
5. Last week to get new spirit wear from PTO. Forms were distributed at the start of the school year but can also be found here: EES_Spirit_Wear_Order_Form.pdf (core-docs.s3.amazonaws.com)

Mrs. Larson's class conducted their first science experiment of the school year this week.

Our kindergarten team is composed of six incredible teachers, three rockstar paraprofessionals, and one fabulous student teacher! Tuesday was the last day for stagger start and we've enjoyed having our newest rockets 🚀 here everyday!

Thank you Lenoir City High School for sending you Panther Crew to help open car doors. We also appreciate School Board member Mrs. Melissa Browder, Mrs. Sturman, and our staff for opening doors this morning. Today is the first day for our entire kindergarten.

Loudon County Schools will close Aug. 7, 2023 at 1:00 PM due to incoming severe storms. Buses will run.

We hope to see our 3rd and 4th grade parents this evening. Monday evening, we will host 1st and 2nd grade. Tuesday evening will be PreK and kindergarten.

We had a great first day on our campus. We enjoyed spending the morning with North Middle School, Loudon County Sheriff Department, and WBIR Channel 10.
We can't wait to see students 1st-4th with the last name L-Z tomorrow.

Registration day is tomorrow! We can't wait to see you. New Enrollees check here for what to bring: https://ees.loudoncounty.org/o/ees/page/new-student-information Don't forget your state issued identification for us to scan for a visitors pass.

We are looking forward to seeing all our returning students for registration day on Monday. Please remember we have yearly paperwork that will need to be reviewed and completed. We will also be issuing visitors badges so don't forget your identification.
Returning students (enrolled at the end of the previous school year) do not need to bring anything with them. However, it is a good time to bring school supplies with you so you will not have to worry about it on the first day of school.

Our staff is back and ready to kickoff the year!

It's hard to believe school is just a few weeks away. With that comes a new year for our PTO. If you or someone you know would like to be a part of our PTO, please join us for our first official meeting.

We're in need of some help for our Thursday morning sidewalk crew! If you and/or your company are interested in giving our students a smiling welcome when they arrive to school, please contact Megan Gonzalez at gonzalezme@loudoncounty.org .
