Let's give a round of applause 👏 to today's National School Breakfast week winner Amelia. She won the game "Guess the Packet".

Henry was our guest announcer this morning. Did you know a good listener is like a catcher at a baseball game. They give all their attention to the person, throwing words their way so they can catch those words & understand what is being said. Let's all be good listeners today.🚀

Happy Birthday to special education paraprofessional, Mrs. Jenna! 🎂 Wishing you a fantastic birthday filled with joy and laughter. You deserve the best!🎈🎉

Lucy was our winner this morning for the "Guess how many straws" game during breakfast. Keep eating breakfast all week to play the fun games and win prizes during National School Breakfast week.

Good afternoon, Eaton families!
1. Thank you to everyone who wore a hat last week and donated to help a family in our community. We raised $1,700 for them.
2. Reminder: there is no LAUNCH tomorrow, March 4th.
3. We will have spring individual photos on Friday, March 7th. In order to minimize class disruption, only students who wish to purchase a package will be photographed on Spring picture day. So, anyone that wants a picture taken will need to bring a completed order form (even if they paid online) to assist teachers with identifying who needs to be photographed. Please note that to generate a final list of students who need to be photographed, online ordering closes at midnight the night before pictures, so if you wish to pay online you must complete your order by midnight before picture day. Any questions can be directed to support@simplepix.com or by phone at (865) 585-2949.
4. We need a few volunteers to help this week with Kona Ice and Spring pictures. If you can help, please see the sign-up link: https://bit.ly/2024EESVolSignup.
5. Thursday evening is 3rd grade musical performance at 6:30 in Central United Methodist Church sanctuary.
6. On April 4th we are going to host a College and Career Fair for our 3rd and 4th grade students. We are looking for community business that would like to share what opportunities are out there for our students so we can ignite their passion for their future. Interested? Sign up here Bitly | bit.ly/3EFkfjv or email sweetb@loudoncounty.org
7. The Rocketeer went home last Friday. The link can be found on our website https://5il.co/398yk.
8. This month's family engagement is a take home and send back activity. Attached to the Rocketeer was a shamrock for you to decorate and complete. We will line our front foyer with these beautiful shamrocks. If you need another copy, you can check it out here: https://5il.co/38jc6
9. Spring break is next week March 10-14.
10. This week’s parent tip comes from the “Helping Children Learn” newsletter with tips families can use to help children do better in school. English: https://5il.co/398zf Spanish: https://5il.co/398zg
Thank you for all that you do to make EES great! Have a great week and if we can do anything please reach out.
